Daddy is home!

Stevens homecoming went well. They changed the time so much on me. He ended up coming home very early Wednesday morning at 330AM. I got about 90 minutes of sleep that night. It was as if Abby knew what was going on cause at 2AM, about 5 minutes before my alarm was set to go off, She was wide awake. So I got up, had the kids stay in their PJ's, contemplated if I should stay in my sweats, but opted for jeans and my flannel top with these pearl buttons.

We got to the place he told us to meet him, and about 10 minutes after we got there I saw the buses drive by us, so I pushed my brake light twice to signal to him I was sitting there waiting, and I had Blake come to the front seat in my lap. I saw him walking down the street, so I opened up the window and told Blake who is that Blake? And it was the most heartwarming reaction. He started shaking a little, and started screaming with such joy in his voice "Daddy, hi daddy, its Blake, hi daddy, daddy come here daddy come here, daddy I am right here, please come here daddy!" (I am almost crying just thinking about his reaction, it was just so sweet and perfect) So Steven yelled out Im coming Blake, daddys home! and I had to drive around a fence to get him, and we drove next to him while he walked by us, cause he had to go put his gun away, so I had Blakes and my window rolled down and Blake was practically hanging out the window just trying to touch him as if he didnt think Steven was really there. Steven eventually was finsihed, and got into the car gave me my kiss, and hugged Blake, and then looked at Abby who was STILL wide awake...it was now about 4AM.

We got home close to 430, and we put Blake to bed, who was very unwilling, and then tried to put Abby to sleep. She fell asleep, BUT, 1 hour later when we weren't even asleep yet, Abby was up AGAIN, ugh...So DH decided he would get up with her, and let me sleep. So I slept till about 10 or so, and when I got up Blake had been up for about 3 hours, and Abby was still awake. At that point, when Abby has been up for almost 8 hours straight I took her upstairs and she slept till like 4. We just chilled at home. I was starting to feel nauseated at night, and then yesterday morning I woke up so sick. I am better though now


I actually don't have any pictures I had the video camera to use. I thought it would be very lighted but it wasn't, so my video wasn't coming out. I had my regular camera too, but as soon as we saw Steven, my last thought was to dig in the back seat for it I am a wee bit disappointed that I have no pics, but eh, I have pics from many other deployments

Great start to my Mothers Day

That would be today :) Just a normal day to me, since we will celebrate it another day when daddy is home. I am glad I am not "celebrating" mothers day today. It has not been a very good day. I went to bed last night about 1030, got woken up at 11 since Abby was hungry. Blake came into bed with me about...hmm maybe 2-ish. At 330 Abby woke up to eat again, well at this point I was very tired, but within a heartbeat I was wide awake. Don't know why, just was. At about 415 I was drifting off, but low and behold at about 430 Blake started having some hiccup type movements. He ended up throwing up his entire dinner....all over my bed and pillows. Took him to the bathroom, and at this point Abby was awake again from the noise. After putting Blake in his bed, Abby back to bed, and cleaning everything up, I laid back down at 5 to go back to sleep. No surprise when Abby decides to wake up early at 7. I don't even wanna count the hours of sleep I missed, but it was enough to make me dead on my feet. Blake has gotten a bit better but has been to the bathroom 3 other times and it is only noon. Calgon take me away!!

Abby made top 10 in photo contest

In a contest I entered Abby in back in March, started with 4400 kids. WOW right..lots of kids. Well 4 rounds and 4390 kids kicked off...Abby Lou is in the top 10 kids. She is my little beauty, and compared to the other, (even though I am VERY biased) is the cutest kid there. Too bad it is votes that count, and not beauty or it would be IN THE BAG!!! Voting is Monday at noon PST till Noon on Friday...They are kicking off 6 more kids to get the top 4. What an ego boost for me to know my baby is one of the top 10 kids :) Great support from family and friends!! Now on to the next round....
